Support Our Odyssey of the Mind Team

After earning 2nd place at the Florida State Competition, our team of 6th–8th grade students from The Pioneer School has qualified for the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in Iowa!

We’re raising funds to help them get there. Thank you for being part of it.

Our team (Gentry Brass, Pippa Buschiazzo, Luke Daniello, Luna Espinoza Proffitt, Isaac Hellmuth, Charlie Jones, and Marian Young) has spent months designing, building, and performing an original solution to a complex problem.

Their project combines engineering and creativity, including:

  • A custom-built vehicle with a unique propulsion system
  • A 3D-printed gear mechanism
  • A performance centered around a theme of magic and illusion

WHY IT MATTERS

Odyssey of the Mind helps students build real-world skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and resilience.Your support helps these students represent St. Augustine, Saint Johns County, and Northeast Florida on a global stage.
